I wanted to recommend a book, in case you or others haven't read it entitled "100 Q&A About Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism" by Andra James, Thomas Ortel, and Victor Tapson. It answers many questions about DVT and PE, in laymen terms. I found it to be very informative and thought I would recommend it to you in the event you would like to read it/recommend it here. DVT.

Dr. Andra James happens to be a member of NATT's Medical and Scientific Advisory Board (MASAB). She is also a leading specialist in Women's Health relating to clotting and clotting disorders.

Hey DVT, long time no see, how are things with you? The thing I like about this book is that it can be used as a reference book, you go in the index, look up your topic and VOILA!!! You don't need to read it cover to cover, but I am... You can certainly tell that DVT outpatients had a lot to do with this book, simply by the way it is written.

Hey Dero, a lot going on, how are things with you? Yes, I read it cover to cover as well, but the breakdown is nice for those wishing a quick reference. I also liked how they worded things in "laymen" terms rather than using medical terminology, easy to understand.
