Brenda has brought this to my attention, yes if people see colors that they don't know, you may get questions such as
" what does those colors represent" "White and Red, I have never seen..."
A chance to talk about DVT, educate folks, promote DVT awareness.

Well it's all about awareness...

Thanks Denis! I just rec'd an email that my pin has been shipped. When it arrives, I'll put it on and we'll see what conversation it generates!

Next time you need any awareness pins, let me know because I get them free. I have a whole grunch of the official DVT Awareness Pins that the DVT Coalition sends out to hospitals for DVT Awareness Month (March) here in the U.S.

You can also order an official stop-the-clot NATT wristband (think LiveStrong) or Technical bike riding Jersey from the ClotBuster, aka - Roland Varga. His website is located at: http://clot-buster-triathlete.blogspot.com/

This is super news!!! Especially since we can't get those particular ones sent from the Coalition to Canada. Thank you... I just might take you up on this sooner than later!

Thanks also re: the Stop the Clot bracelet link! I hadn't seen it when I was on the Stop the Clot site.

Speaking of which, I just found out the APS sells DVT awareness merchandise! Take a look at: http://www.cafepress.com/apsfoundation/1130562 . There are 3 designs, but on several types of products (i.e. shirts, mugs, stickers, etc.)

P.S. Tom, do you think I could get permission to use that picture (your avatar) for my newsletter? Question (Is it yours or the Coalition's?) I'm doing an edition on DVT for August. If possible, could you send the jpeg to my regular email?

Thanks! Very Happy

Brenda,

The pictures of the DVT Awareness Pin is from my collection (the pin I wear on my sports coat) so feel free to use. I'll send it to you in an email.

Regards,
Tom
