Melanie Bloom lives with her three children. She is a national spokeswoman for the Coalition to Prevent DVT. These days, when you are talking of DVT, the name "Melanie Bloom" can be heard in that same breath. Since the death of her husband David Bloom, she has become one of the top speaker, raising awareness on DVT.
