Findings suggest that the risk increased with those prescribed newer psychotic medications or atypical antipsychotic drugs — such as Abilify, Seroquel and Zyprexa — when compared to others.

Hi I am new to this forum and this has been so enlightening. I had a car accident when I was working in South Sudan where we were held up by a militia with AK47s which led to my having post traumatic stress disorder in which I experienced severe depression. I was prescribed seroquel as one of my antipsychotic drugs and lo and behold I got DVT.
