A couple of things we at Life After DVT want to explain:

We are NOT doctors nor are we in any way link to any medical companies, therefor all of the information that we personally post here on this forum, we have acquired by doing Google Searches on various topics related to DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and DVT itself.

Most of the literature that we post here, explains or expands what we have been told by our own doctor on the topic of DVT, I cannot tell you for sure anything about PE (pulmonary embolism), nor am I knowledgeable about protein S and C deficiency.
We do hope that people will join this forum and have more information from their own experiences to offer on these topics and others.

We are not responsible for posting the links of the three or four links that are located under the picture logo, they are provided by the forum provider, they are what you call "bots" that gather common topics from what is posted on the forum and they bring back links to those sites/forums.
To give you an example, one of those sites claims that they can cure thrombosis with these herbs, but when you actually go onto their site, DVT is not what they are talking of. Be aware...
*All the sites that we put up as a link, have been read and they are relative to DVT.*

Most of the information that we will post, will be Canadian specific or North American, we know that in various countries different applications and different point of views are formulated even if we are talking of the same condition. Maybe it would be a good idea when posting comments or links, to mention what part of the world you are from and where you got the info...

So, just to let you know , we are simply your normal everyday person that have been affected by DVT and wants to learn more about it and try to raise the public awareness towards DVT and hope that we can help someone by sharing information on this disease.
